Edit: Haha, I just noticed a really stupid mistake on The Magician.

Does this happen to you too? Do you know when you decide to put something away very neatly in a perfect place, and you can't ever find it again? Well, when I packed to NY, I wanted to take my backpack (correction: Lili's backpack), so I had to take most of my sketchbooks, including school work, out of the bag. So I stored them very neatly in, what I thought then, was the perfect place. I clearly remember thinking this. What I don't clearly remember is where the hell was that perfect place. I've looked all over the place, and I can't find them! It's really a bugger not so much because I have drawings there that I want to scan, but in there are all my sketches for the comic I'm working on for school now. I'm sure it will turn up, but when? I seriously have absolutely no idea where they might be.
I'm definitely not meant to be neat, whenever I decide to store anything, this happens. Either I keep a written record of where I put things, immediately after I do, or I just give up on trying to be organized and I will be the horribly messy person that I am today until the end of my life.
Well, I have one sketchbook, the one I took with me to NY, and there are two drawings in there I haven't posted. Most of what I have been doing lately is automatic drawing like this. It entertains me a lot, I generally like how it looks, and I don't have to worry about being uninspired!

Went to New York for a few days this week, it was my late Christmas gift from my mum. We spent a lot of time in Museums, the American Museum of Natural History and MoMA specifically, but didn't get to see the Tim Burton exhibit because it was always sold out and we didn't want to spend time in lines. It was very tiring but also very fun! We both felt that we started enjoying it more the moment we left, but I guess with holidays that is always the case. Also, after four years of online chatting, I've finally met Tzuan in person, who I admire very much and is really a great guy! As are the friends of his that I met, especially Debbie, who I met twice and was really very nice! So that is another thing that makes me feel like I didn't have enough time, I really wish I could've stayed longer. Also I didn't take enough pictures!
New York is too crowded, sometimes smelly, and certainly egocentric. However, it is really one of my most favourite places to visit and I never seem to get tired of it. So I guess this time I really must be brave and go ask about exchange programs to NYC at school, because it's an experience I would really love to have.
I uploaded
photos, of course! And I DO have some drawings to upload. Just not enough! Haha... D:
